This conference provides educators, students, and researchers an excellent opportunity to share their experiences and insights on leveraging digital tools and strategies to enhance the teaching and learning experience. Through this collaborative effort, we can explore new educational frontiers and create a more inclusive and engaging learning environment for all. We invite submissions of original research papers, work-in-progress reports, and case studies on the following subcategories related to “Bilingual Education for College Students in the Age of AI.” Articles can be theoretical or empirical and can utilize a range of methodologies. We welcome papers that address practical problems, theoretical debates, or policy issues related to teaching and learning in any geographic context. We also welcome interdisciplinary reports that integrate insights from multiple disciplines. We extend our sincere gratitude for your support of our conference.

In today’s diverse society and workplaces, English is becoming increasingly important. To enable high school students to learn practical English for the workplace and experience its widespread use, the Department of Applied Foreign Languages at Lunghwa University of Science and Technology organized a one-day English camp on January 25, 2024.

To understand the latest developments in the MICE industry, the Department of Applied Foreign Languages at Lunghwa University of Science and Technology has organized the “MICE New Thinking Workshop” and invited academics, convention and exhibition industry professionals, high school teachers, and university professors to share their experiences. Experience exchanges can improve the teaching materials and teaching methods from the teaching end in order to meet the needs of industrial talents, create student practical abilities, and create career opportunities.

In order to cultivate students’ multi-lingual skills, the Department of Applied Foreign Languages at Lunghwa University of Science and Technology has hosted the Vietnam Cultural Festival for 2 consecutive days. The activities including a series of Vietnamese reading, speaking and singing contests, as well as Vietnamese cultural exhibitions and lectures, traditional costumes and catwalk shows, folk games, movies, and special foods.

Zhi-Mi Chen, a sophomore student of the Department of Applied Foreign Languages at Lunghwa University of Science and Technology, was recently supervised by Dr. Bin-Bin Yu and participated in the "2017 iCorrect National Campus English Composition Competition.” She stood out from the 106 competitors from 43 colleges and universities and won the first place.
