In English subject-related areas, students in four years of English language learning focus on integrating reading and writing. Besides a progressive sequence of courses which focus on reading, writing, translation, writing, a weekly English newsletter － “This Week”, guided by teachers, is written in English by junior students in group collaboration as a graduation monograph preparation.

Students in the groups should write about 20 pages and deliver their monographs through oral and workshop-style presentations in which students respond to questions. Our monographs won awards two times in the National Student Project Contest. Integrating students' reading and writing skills is a positive outcome.
